We wanted to maintain the integrity of the original water tower, allowing only necessary structural reinforcement and minor treatment of existing window openings; on the other hand, the new installation was inserted into the channel inside the water tower. Two end-to-end funnels form the main part of the installation. Window frames grow out of every possible opening of the water tower. At the bottom of the water tower, a theater staircase is set to connect the entrance and the viewing platform.
